The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a 501(c)(3) professional association for electronic engineering and electrical engineering (and associated disciplines) with its corporate office in New York City and its operations center in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The IEEE Council on Superconductivity, CSC, and its activities and programs shall be to cover the science and technology of superconductors and their applications, including materials and their applications for electronics, magnetics, and power systems, where the superconductor properties are central to the application.

It is one of the oldest universities to be founded by a head of State while other educational institutions by and large were a product of corporate initiatives. The king’s objective was to create an institution of higher learning that would put an end to the predominance of the universities of northern Italy.

Through collaborations with partners, we have achieved remarkable scientific accomplishments, publishing numerous high-level papers in renowned journals such as Nature and Science. Moreover, we have collaborated closely with clients to achieve several world-firsts and records, including facilitating the superior quantum computing performance of the Nine-Chapter optical Quantum Computing, achieving a world-record distance over 1000km for quantum key distribution, and attaining a maximum quantum communication speed of 622Mbps/s.
